About the Author
Vicki McGrail-Gamble is a graduate of Loyola University in New Orleans. She is a free lance writer and an English teacher.  Mrs. Gamble has been featured in Scholastic Scope and the Summerville Journal Scene.  She writes online articles as well.  She lives with her husband and two children.  Her husband's military background has rooted them in South Carolina where they are fully enjoying learning  the culture and traditions of Charleston, but they are proud Florida natives.

About my latest book, Kindergarten Colors

Sydney has been waiting her whole life to go to Kindergarten, and today she finally starts! She is excited about reading and writing, but what she is really looking forward to is using her brand new box of crayons. The Kindergartners receive their first assignment, and to Sydney's luck, she gets to use them. Sydney and her classmates soon learn that not only their crayon boxes share different colors, but their families do too!
